At Yosemite Farm Credit, we believe in agriculture. It’s the economic engine that drives this region, and it’s the essential industry for our nation. So we support the next generation of farmers through a variety of programs, scholarships and opportunities to help young people make a career in agriculture.

In fact, Yosemite Farm Credit commits more than $100,000 a year to support ag students and ag programs in our area. Projects we sponsor or support include:

Scholarships for ag students in high school and college
Project awards for Future Farmers of America students
California Women in Agriculture
Modesto’s Ag Science Center
Barbecues for exhibitors and buyers at the Merced County
Fair, Stanislaus County Fair and Los Banos Spring Fair
Ag in the Classroom
Yosemite Farm Credit is committed to local Ag programs at
the Elementary, Junior High, High School, Junior College,
State Colleges and the U.C. programs.

Through these efforts and others, Yosemite Farm Credit is working to ensure that agriculture is valued here and continues to flourish.
